About this exercise

Time spans that cross from one day into the next.

How to solve it

Count from the start time up to midnight, then add the hours and minutes that fall in the new day.

Worked example

From 22:30 to 06:15 is 1 h 30 min to midnight plus 6 h 15 min, giving 7 hours 45 minutes.

Common mistake

Subtracting the smaller time from the larger. That measures the gap the wrong way round.
